Lisa’s areas of expertise include facilitation and skill development in a range of communication skills including networking, presenting, bidding, business development, leadership, and team development.

As Australia’s expert on business networking Lisa is often asked to be a keynote speaker at conferences and events. Her recently published book, “Networking exposed: Discover the secrets of business networking” is aimed at helping executives and professional people to achieve greater business success through networking.

Prior to establishing her business with Sue Tomat, Lisa enjoyed a successful career within the professional services, finance and transport sectors. Lisa started her career in consulting with Andersen Consulting (now Accenture) before moving into the transport industry in Queensland. Within this environment Lisa developed her skills in training needs analysis, design, development and delivery of a wide range of technical and communication programs aimed at all levels of management and staff. This experience included off site management development programs using adventure based learning techniques.

Lisa’s experience as a senior manager within large Australian law firm Allens Arthur Robinson, included the introduction of extensive partner development programs incorporating business development, upward feedback, presentation and negotiation skills, leadership, recruitment and team development.

Lisa’s clients include large professional services firms, investment banks and corporate organisations. Examples of her clients are Blake Dawson Waldron, Allens Arthur Robinson, Clayton Utz, Deutsche Bank, Macquarie Bank, Goldman Sachs JB Were, Deloitte, KPMG, Boeing Australia, Suncorp, Queensland Treasury Corporation, and Queensland Investment Corporation.

Lisa has a BA, Dip Psych (Org), and Masters in Organisational Psychology from the University of Queensland. These qualifications, together with her experience as a University Lecturer at Masters level, adds a strong theoretical base to her diverse practical experience.
