Helen Brogan has over 20 years experience in the field of Occupational Health and Safety, including implementation of safety systems and claims and injury management. Helen's primary focus has been improvement of Health and Safety Systems and practice within an organisation, although she has also worked in a consultancy framework. Helen's OHS practice spans a diverse range of industries including airline operations, University campus, banking and insurance, Road Service, Legal, Water Utility and manufacturing. Helen has successfully implemented a range of programmes, including:
- Establish and monitor EAP programmes
- Implement National Claims and Injury management strategies, with significant reduction of claims premiums
- Implement Safety Systems, in complex high risk industries
- Implement preventative programmes, ranging from low to high risk contexts
- Implement OHS risk management programmes
- Develop and deliver of OHS training packages
- Tailor and implement OHS data systems
- Develop and Implement Contractor Management programmes, including consideration of OHS system for management of Labour Hire employees
Helen currently holds the position of Health Safety & Environment Manager, Pacific Zone, Schneider Electric Australia.
Helen holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Occ. Therapy) and Graduate Diploma in Ergonomics, and is currently completing a Master of Business in Operations and Supply Chain Management.
